Final Farewell

Anna Theresa (Santella) Indusi, a resident of Wading River, NY and former resident of Ossining passed away June 30. Anna was born in Brooklyn and was the daughter of Biagio and Carmella Muzio Santella. She was 96. She married Joseph J. Indusi of Tarrytown on November 24, 1940.

Anna was formerly employed by J & L Stewart Manufacturing in Ossining as a seamstress for over 30 years. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist church in Wading River and a former communicant of St. Ann’s church in Ossining. She was a member of the Wildwood Acres Homeowners Association and the Senior Citizens.

Anna enjoyed cooking, entertaining and sewing. Mrs. Indusi is survived by her son Dr. Joseph P. (Karen) Indusi of Miller Place, NY; her daughter Marianne Indusi (Frank) Solak of Ossining; her siblings Thomas Santella of Elmsford, Aneil Santella of Bethlehem, Pa., and Antoinette Lambling of Arlington, VT., her grandchildren Scott C. (Beth) Solak of Charlottesville, Va.; Joseph L. Indusi of Brooklyn; and her great grandchildren, Jordyn and Jake Solak. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Indusi who passes away on May 21, 2002; her son Frank T. Indusi who passed away on November 9, 2000 and her brothers Frank Santella of  St. Augustine, Fl., James Santella of Freehold, NJ., and Benny Santella of Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Visitation was held Monday at Dorsey Funeral Home. The funeral mass was held today at St. Ann’s Church.
