_The Town of Ossining holds its next town hall style meeting in the public library tonight from 7:30 to 9 p.m. If you're particularly interested in the fate of the riverfront Engel Park and with the Ossining Boat Club, as many have expressed on Patch, then you may want to weigh in here.

Wednesday, Oct. 2
_Boating is only get to get more and more challenging a the Tappan Zee Bridge rebuild progresses. On the tails of the news that a barge broke free of its moorings (and with one tragic accident already), the U.S. Coast Guard changed the navigation rules around the bridge. Saturday, Oct. 5
_Last weekend the Ossining Fire Department took down the outdoor stage at Louis Engel Park that was heavily damaged during Superstorm Sandy. The town is planning to have a community build of the new stage this weekend. Writes Supervisor Susanne Donnelly:Do you and your family have any time to spare and want to come down to the waterfront and help? How about any organization or service group that you work with? It promises to be a day of great team building exercises, and will become something that really makes a lasting difference in the community. Hope to see you all down at Louis Engel Park between 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM on Saturday (Sunday too, if needed).
