Wednesday, Sept. 25
_Ossining Board of Ed meets at 7:30 in the Roosevelt School Cafeteria at 190 Croton Avenue. with the following work session items:
- The District's Internal Auditors, Tobin & Co., will provide a brief overview of the Ossining School District's Internal Risk Assessment the Benefits Audit for the 2012-2013 school year. The Board of Education will be asked to accept the audits as presented.
- Director of English and ESL Mirla Puello will provide an overview of the District's focus on integrating Thinking Maps and the Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) into all classrooms throughout the District - grades Prek-12.
- Ossining High School Principal Joshua Mandel will provide an overview of a plan to introduce community service as a graduation requirement to all students attending Ossining High School.
- The Village of Ossining will present information regarding a request for a PILOT. The details related to the PILOT will be shared with the Board of Education and the community.
- St. Augustine Church, 381 North Highland Avenue, Ossining, NY 10562, will have a Blood
