Joan Farrelly, of Ossining, Remembered for Kind Heart, Love for Life

Memorial Mass will be held at Queen of Apostle Church of Maryknoll, 55 Ryder Road, Ossining on Saturday at 11:00am, with visitation in the Spellman Room prior to mass from 9:30 to 11:00am.

Joan P. Farrelly of Ossining, NY died on October 30, 2013. She was 70. Mrs. Farrelly worked for Maryknoll in Ossining for the past twenty five years.

Joan was born in Yonkers, NY on January 25, 1943 to Michael and Angelina D’Anna Potocki. On June 25, 1966 she married Gerard P. Farrelly at St. Mary’s Church, Yonkers. She had been a resident of Ossining for the past forty three years coming from Yonkers.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm welcomes and her love for life.

Mrs. Farrelly is survived by her husband Gerald P. Farrelly, two daughters Beth Farrelly and Jeanine (Joseph) Isabella, 4 grandchildren Molly, Ryan, Colin and Jayne Isabella, two brothers Raymond and Michael Potocki and two sisters Jeanette Potocki and Theresa Ryan.

Memorial Mass at Queen of Apostle Church of Maryknoll, 55 Ryder Road, Ossining on Saturday November 2, 2013 at 11:00am. Visitation in the Spellman Room of Maryknoll, prior to mass, from 9:30 to 11:00am. Memorial donations to the Maryknoll Missioners, PO Box 302, Maryknoll, NY 10545.
