Lifelong Croton-on-Hudson residents Angelo A. “Scotchie” Agosta, known for his humor and fun-loving disposition, passed away on Monday, June 10 at age 88.

He was born to Rosario and Mary Agosta on January 9, 1925 and worked for Metro North for 44 years.

On June 5, 1948, he married his wife, the late Mary L. Agosta, at St. Ann’s Church in Ossining. The “die hard” Yankee fan is survived by his two sons— Robert and his wife Susan; and Paul and his wife Linda—as well as his brother Joseph, and his three grandchildren.
