Ossining Concert and Sing Along

The Concert and Sing Along on November 19 at Trinity Church Ossining was a big success.

The following is a press release:

The Concert and Sing Along on Nov. 19 at Trinity Church Ossining was successful and a lot of fun. We raised just about $800 and three "harvest" tables full of canned food for the benefit of the Ossining Food Pantry.
 
Participating Performers were:

  • Dale Bonenberger, organist and music director, Trinity Church Ossining The "Ethicals" from Ethical Society of Northern Westchester group, organized by saxophonist Heike Schneider.
  • Bob Berson, the leader of ESNW, who read the poetry.
  • Kol Ha Shalom: Laura Copel and Carol Merle-Fishman, Temple Israel of Northern Westchester.
  • Old Mill Singers:  Gary Bratt, conductor
  • St. Paul’s on the Hill Choir, joined by young performers from St. Paul's grant-funded free Youth Music Program for Ossining kids and soloist Dan Visconti.  The choir director and Youth Music Program director is Carolyn Black Hightower

 
The event was organized by Ann Gulian, Carolyn Black and Lisa Rosenbloom from St. Paul's on the Hill, with a lot of help from friends and family.
