Ossining Cops: 20 Bags of Pot; Knife Menacer

20 Bags of Marijuana
An Ossining man was stopped on Spring Street and found to have an active warrant out of NYC for his arrest there and a bunch of marijuana in his possession, police said.
The Charter Circle resident, age 23, was stopped on South Highland Avenue Oct. 9 at 12:05 a.m.
Ossining police discovered he was wanted in NYC for failure to appear in court on a charge of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
When Ossining police stopped him they found him to be in possession of 20 bags of marijuana and charged him with a misdemeanor level criminal possession of marijuana, police said.
Knife Threat
A Beacon man was charged with menacing after witnesses say he was wielding a knife in a fight on State Street.
Police responded to a call for a fight happening on Oct. 13 at 1:30 a.m. There witnesses told officials that one man had been threatening another with a knife.
However, Lt. William Sullivan said police hadn't retrieved any weapon.
Police charged the man, aged 43, with menacing in the second, a misdemeanor.
