
Village of Ossining Police made two felony DWI-related arrests of drivers recently.
Police responded to call for someone driving erratically on Revolutionary Road on Nov. 15 at 9:30 p.m. and made a DWI arrest.
Police found an SUV with Vermont plates driving erratically when they arrived and found the driver to be intoxicated.
Tyler Blaire, 32, of Lewis Road in Irvington, was charged with:
- aggravated unlicensed operation in the first, a Felony (being under the influence with a previous suspension),
- driving while intoxicated,
- and resisting arrest.

Police also made a felony DWI arrest after finding a man to have a .22 blood alcohol count and 12 empty beer cans in his car.
Lewis Merchant-Panza, 33, of James Street, Ossining was pulled over on Nov. 17 at 10:30 p.m. after an officer noticed him driving erratically.
Police smelled a "strong odor of alcohol," said Lt. Sullivan, and found a dozen empty beer cans in the car.
A breath test yielded a blood alcohol count of .22, almost three times the legal limit of .08.
Merchant-Panza was charged with:
- DWI-felony (having a previous DWI conviction),
- and aggravated DWI with a suspended license, also a felony.
