Parents in Ossining and Croton are wondering how to proceed with trick or treating today. Here is what officials from the three municipalities are saying.
- Croton-on-Hudson officials urge parents to use their own judgement when choosing whether to take their children trick or treating today.
- Town of Ossining Supervisor Sue Donnelly says, "Please keep your trick or Treaters in. ConEd’s job is enormous. Our first responders need to be able to get through in case of emergency. Halloween at the Joseph G Caputo Community Center is on... Nice break from having the kids inside all week and much safer than going door to door... 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m..."

- Ossining's Mayor says, "My advice: keep your children off the streets, including teens and espcially at night. Keep non-essential traffic to a minimum until the State of Emergency is lifted. Dare Halloween will be at Community Center from 6:00 to 8:00."
