Ossining Police Make Two Drunk Driving Arrests
Ossining's Finest made two separate drunk driving arrests on October 1 and September 30.

The following police reports were written by the Village of Ossining Police Department.
- Officers dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle accident on State Street at about 5:30 am Saturday October 1 learned the operator of the vehicle, which struck a parked car, was operating with a suspended license and under the influence of Alcohol. Aracelis Urgelles, of Hamilton Avenue, age 27, the operator of a white Toyota Camry was charged with driving with a suspended license and driving with ability impaired.
- Officers called to Brookville Avenue on Friday September 30 at about 4:00 PM were told by a resident that an intoxicated driver operating a green Honda had just struck her parked vehicle and fled leaving a passenger in the vehicle. Officers responded where they discovered the passenger in a highly intoxicated state seated in the rear of the car. The neighbor told officers that the driver was seen going to the rear of another home on the street. After a brief search of the area officers located a person fitting the description given by the neighbor and after a brief foot pursuit he was taken into custody. Charged with Driving While Intoxicated was Wilmer R Zaghui, age 18, of Ossining. The passenger was transported to Phelps Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
