Ossining Police: Woman Injured in Domestic Assault

Police arrested an Ossining man and charged him with assault after he had allegedly punched a woman in the head and face.

The victim was taken to Phelps Memorial Hospital for bruising and swelling, reported Lt. William Sullivan, after she had been punched.

Police responded to the 911 call for the incident at 1:24 a.m. on August 6 to Edwards Street. 

The man, aged 25, was charged with third degree assault, a misdemeanor.
