Thanks to Leach and Thomas Funeral home for providing the following. Benjamin Acker of Crown Point, formerly of Ossining, died peacefully surrounded by his family on July 19, 2012. He was born June 17, 1920 in Ossining to Benjamin &amp; Dorothy Penrose Acker. Benjamin served in the US Army during WWII. He got his Master's Degree from NYU. Benjamin worked for MGM/United Artists as a Vice-President of Taxes in NYC. A graveside service will be held Monday July 23, 2012 at 10:45am at Dale Cemetery.
