Photos: Ossining Winter Market Opens

Ossining Winter Farmers' Market is staying outdoors this winter to bring locals their favorite fresh vegetables and fruits, bread, pickles and other treats.

The Down to Earth Markets-run venture takes place on Saturdays through May 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Spring Street and Main Street in the village.

Vendors locals can look for throughout the season include Bread Alone, Gajeski Produce, Migorelli Farm, Pickle Licious and The Amazing Real Live Food Company.

The market debuted on a chilly Saturday morning, where bundled up shoppers filled their bags with goods.
