Croton ShopRite was again the scene of a pricey meat theft incident, Croton police Sgt. John Nikitopoulos told Patch.
Store security called village police on July 7 at 3 p.m. to report that a large amount of inventory was missing when they checked the meat department that day.
A review of video surveillance revealed that someone walked out of the store the day prior with a full cart of meat without paying.
Police are investigating.
This follows the story from June 29 when a 31-year-old Queens man was arrested at the same grocery store after allegedly loading bags with expensive meat and beauty products, police said.
