Croton police report several recent drug and drinking-related arrests of drivers on the same day.
Police arrested two Croton teens on drug charges after a traffic stop on Friday, June 14 around 11:30 p.m. on Cleveland Drive near Munson.
Police pulled over a car for traffic violations and subsequently charged:
- A 19-year-old man with possession of marijuana
- and another 19-year-old man with Driving While Ability Impaired, allegedly from drugs.

Police received numerous calls for a one-car accident moments later on South Riverside Avenue at 11:48 p.m. that resulted in a Driving While Intoxicated arrest of a Putnam Valley woman.
The 53-year-old was involved in a property damage accident and complained to paramedics of chest pain, but apparently checked out okay, said Sgt. John Nikitopoulos.
She was then charged with DWI and released with a return court on $100 bail that she posted.
