Police: Ossining Man Found with Brass Knuckles, Knife

Ossining Police made a felony arrest after receiving a call last week that someone had a weapon, police said.

Turan Burnett, 34, of 115 State Street, Ossining, was charged on Broad Avenue with criminal possession of a weapon and marijuana.

Lt. William Sullivan said Burnett, "who has a lengthy conviction record," was found with brass knuckles and a metal knife, as well as marijuana.

Because Burnett had prior felony convictions, his charge this time was a felony as well, police said.

He was charged with:

  • Criminal Possession in the third
  • and unlawful possession of marijuana in the fourth.
Burnett was taken to county jail with no bail set.

Note: An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
