Remembering Ossining's Rose Crisci
Beloved Ossining resident Rose Crisci's visiting hours will be held today.

People from the Ossining area and beyond are saying a final farewell to Rose Crisci today. The lifelong Ossining resident passed away on Thursday at the age of 93. Rose was born in Ossining on September 26, 1919 and was the daughter of Francesco and Maria Nicola (Della Rocca) Cafarelli.
Visiting hours will be held today at Dorsey Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. and then from 7-9 p.m. Her funeral mass will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church. Interment will follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery.

Rose Crisci was a parishioner of St. Ann's Church and a member of the St. Ann's Sodality. She was a longtime member of the Ossining Senior Citizens and the Golden Agers Group #1. She was much loved by her family and was devoted to them. She was also an avid bowler, enjoyed bocci and was an excellent cook.
Rose is survived by her sister Florence Sarath; her 5 grandchildren, Cynthia, Alphonse, Anthony, Michael & Frederick Crisci; 7 great grandchildren; her beloved niece, Maria Cafarelli, and several other nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Anthony April 17, 2003 and her son Alphonse May 31, 1997 and 11 brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Ann's Church, 25 Eastern Avenue, Ossining, NY.
