Ossining Election Update
Ossining's paper ballots continue to be caught up in an impoundment.

The Westchester County Board of Elections says it is still unable to count paper ballots because of legal action that is currently underway. All Westchester County ballots have been caught up in an impoundment due to legal action involving the Supreme Court justice race between Republican Ed Borrelli, Robert DiBella and Democrat Paul Marx.
Ossining Patch spoke with a Westchester County Board of Elections worker, who did not want to be identified, regarding the status of Ossining's ballots. "We don't have any official results until we certify. Unofficial results—they're still putting in numbers from the machines and we don't have any paper open yet," said the unidentified worker. "Until the judge tells us that—you know with the impoundment—and says we can open them—we can't."
The end could be in sight regarding the ballot holdup when it comes to the Supreme Court justice race's court case. "They're going back to court tomorrow at 2 p.m., and hopefully by then we'll have some answers. Then we can open stuff up," said the unidentified Westchester County Board of Elections worker.
The Westchester County Board of Elections says the two Supreme Court justice candidates went to court on Monday, but everything was delayed when the case was held over until Wednesday.
