Tuesday, July 23

_Croton's Planning Board meets on Tuesday at 8 p.m. For the full agenda, click here. There are public hearings on the following:
  • Edgewater Group Architects on behalf of 420 S. Riverside LLC—420 S. Riverside Avenue (Sec. 79.17 Block 2 Lot 1)—Application for Amended Site Plan Approval for façade modification at shopping center.
  • Rui Jorge –27 Harrison Street (Sec. 68.17 Block 2 Lot 26)—Application for Preliminary Subdivision 
  • Approval (consolidation subdivision) for two lots and Minor Site Plan Approval for two new two-family dwellings. 
_The Village of Ossining Planning Board/Board of Architectural Review meets this week. Most items on the agenda have been adjourned with two BAR items pending:
  • Christopher Duncan, 30 Prospect Ave, 89.16-7-66, in S-75 zone. Action Requested:  Applicant is seeking approval to expand enclosed porch
  • SisBro Realty/Frank Salciccia, 211 North Highland Ave, 89.11-1-80, in GB VILLAGE zone. Action Requested:  Applicant is seeking approval to construct addition
  • And one informal item of note: Victoria Homes, 25 North Malcolm Street, Section 89.19, Block 1, Lot 11, Zone T, Action Requested:  Applicant is seeking 2nd informal review to construct two multifamily buildings
_ The Village of Ossining Board of Trustees work session is today at 7:30 p.m. at 16 Croton Avenue with items up for discussion:
  • Harbor Square pavers
  • Summer concert series
  • Keenan House –Sidewalk Café Request for Waiver
  • Finance – Budget Modification
  • Finance – Fire Truck - Establish Capital Project & Bonding
  • Finance – Closing Capital Projects
  • Village Board Liaison Reports

Wednesday, July 24 

_The Croton Trails Committee meets at 7:30 p.m.

_The Ossining Board of Education meets at 7:30 p.m. in the Roosevelt School cafeteria. On the agenda:
  • The District Contract for Excellence, a New York State Education Department initiative, will be reviewed and an opportunity to share input will be provided.
  • Potential District Goals for the 2013-2014 school year will be discussed.
