We are a new hyperlocal Web site, dedicated to bringing you essential news and information about Ossining and Croton-on-Hudson. 

Patch has already launched numerous sites in Westchester, New Jersey, Connecticut and across the country.

Like them, Ossining-Croton-on-Hudson Patch has a directory of local businesses, organizations and important people and places. We'll cover everything from local government and police issues to arts and entertainment. We also have a comprehensive events calendar and announcements section.

The Directory and Local Facts

In "Places," our listings include information about local businesses, such as hours of operation and services. We also include maps and photos of businesses. The directory has information about civic organizations, parks and schools in the Community Resources section, as well as valuable information about local officials, and information that will assist you in navigating local government.

Events and Announcements

Our events calendar is your source for all that is happening in Croton and Ossining. It includes everything from club meetings to recreation events and programs, and so much more. Our events team does a great job, but we can always use your help. So feel free to upload events as well. Our announcements section is a great way for you to share important accomplishments or life events with your community. Did your child get a school award or get engaged? Did you just get promoted? Do you want to thank a neighbor for helping in a time of need? Post it on our announcements page and let everyone in the area celebrate the good news.

News

The news section features stories about topics such as politics, schools, sports and business. Editor Chris McHugh and his reporters are all over Ossining and Croton, covering the news, events and getting to know the community.

We want the community to be a part of making our site even better. We want to help local organizations by publicizing their news and helping them recruit volunteers, which can be done through our site's volunteer section. We want you to upload your events and announcements, tell us about the community groups you're involved in, send us news tips and story ideas and comments.
