Woman Sent to Hospital After Ossining Rollover Accident

Police are investigating an accident that involved an SUV rolling over multiple times this morning on 9A.

A 29-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after her SUV rolled over in the rain on 9A. Investigators say the unidentified woman was driving her Nissan Xterra SUV around a curve 1/4 mile south of Route 134 when she lost control. The SUV started to fishtail and then it flipped over multiple times, eventually ending up on its roof.

Westchester County Police say the woman got out of the SUV by herself. After first responders arrived to the scene they took the driver to the hospital.

"She was transported to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla where she is being treated for an injury to one of her feet," said Westchester County Police Spokesman Kieran O'Leary. "She was transported by Briarcliff ambulance."
