The online magazine released a list of the most boring towns in every state, with Bayville taking the top spot for New York.

With a population of 6,752, Bayville - often called Pine Island - is a village on the Long Island Sound that is only 1.5 square miles.
According to the Bestlife article, Bayville has only one entertainment spot and zero restaurants.

Bayville's median age is 47.6 and 21 percent of the population is over the age 65.
However, many residents of Bayville - and beyond - disagree, saying the magazine's article is incorrect and the village does have restaurants.
Others took to Facebook to rebut the village's ranking.
"I miss Bayville," Pam Clark said. "Never boring."
