Family Football Night Features Post

A rundown of events this week in Oyster Bay.

It's the week leading up to Labor Day and there's plenty to do in the Town of Oyster Bay:

Oakcliff Sailing: The Oyster Bay sailing organization is hosting the North American 49er Class Association and the North American NACRA 17 Class Association's U.S. National Championships. The event wraps up Monday. 

Oyster Bay High School: Football kicked off last week. All varsity and junior varsity sports begin Monday. For everyone else, just one week of summer left. School begins after Labor Day.

St. Dominic: The Catholic school welcomes incoming freshmen with orientation Tuesday from 9 a.m.-noon. A freshman parent meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. 

TOBAY Football Night: The Town of Oyster Bay is sponsoring “Family Football Night” at Burns Park in Massapequa beginning Wednesday at 7 p.m. NCAA Division II power LIU Post will scrimmage.

Oyster Bay Library: Don’t miss the Thursday showing of the film “Shadow Dancer” at 2 and 6:30 p.m.
