Gruesome 911 Call In Woodbury: Skeletal Remains At Construction Site

The bones, which could be human, are being examined by the county Medical Examiner's Office, Nassau police said.

WOODBURY, NY — The Nassau County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating possible human remains found at a construction site on Fairhaven Boulevard, according to police.

Police received a 911 call at 3:59 p.m. Monday.

When officers arrived at 92 Fairhaven Blvd. they saw skeletal remains while digging into the ground, police said.

The Second Squad and the Medical Examiner responded to the scene. The remains were
removed and taken to the Medical Examiner’s office for further examination.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the bones to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
