'Home For The Holidays' At Planting Fields Estate 'Frozen In Time'
Coe Hall at Planting Fields Arboretum will open after hours to the public to show a decorated 1920s Tudor estate, "rich past" of Gold Coast.

OYSTER BAY, NY β A holiday event at Oyster Bay's Planting Fields Arboretum will open the doors of Coe Hall to the public, to showcase holiday decorations and "transport families to the rich past of [the] Gold Coast estate."
The "amazing" horticulture staff at the state historic park created the decorations, Gina Wouters, President of Planting Fields Foundation, told Patch.
Home for the Holidays will take place Dec. 9 to 11 and then Dec. 16 to 18. Tickets can be purchased in advance, or sold at the door: Adults are $30, children $15, seniors $25, except for Dec. 9, when the Arboretum's tree lighting takes place and prices are higher at $40 for adults, $20 for children and $38 for seniors.

Attendees can self-tour the decorations at Coe Hall, listen to live music, enjoy the fireplace and and shop for holiday gifts at a holiday pop-up shop, organizers say.
Food trucks will also be on-site.
