LI Music And Entertainment Hall Of Fame Concert Canceled

BROOKVILLE, NY — The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame’s 20th Anniversary Concert, scheduled for June 7 at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts at LIU Post, was canceled.

The concert was to serve as a tribute to Billy Joel and see the inductions of Music Agent Dennis Arfa and the Tilles Center at LIU Post into the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame. Family commitments prevented Joel from attending, according to the hall of fame.

"LIMEHOF sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause and thanks you for your understanding," the hall of fame wrote in a statement. "Tickets will be refunded at the place of purchase."
