NCPD: Man In Argument Punches Male Witness, Resists Arrest At Marina
According to Nassau police, a man was arrested for assault and resisting arrest at Oyster Bar marina on Sunday.

OYSTER BAY, NY—Nassau County police announced that a man was arrested Sunday at Oyster Bay's Theodore Roosevelt Marina for assaulting another man and resisting arrest. According to a news release from the department's Second Squad, Omar Romerobulnes, 33, was verbally arguing with a woman before punching a male witness around 6 p.m.
Nassau officers responded to a 911 call at the marina at 5 Bay Avenue. When officers tried to arrest Romerobulnes, the department said, he resisted, causing injury to an officer. The injured officer was treated at a local hospital and released.
Romerobulnes has been charged with assault and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 10 at First District Court in Hempstead.
