Money, Cigarettes Taken In Gas Station Smash-and-Grab: Nassau Police

The front window was smashed at 320 Forest Ave. in Locust Valley, police said.

LOCUST VALLEY, NY — Nassau County police detectives are investigating a break-in at a Locust Valley gas station early Sunday.

Second Precinct officers responding to the Citgo Gas Station at 320 Forest Ave. at 3:47 a.m. found the front window smashed, police said. According to the preliminary investigation, someone stole cigarettes and an undetermined amount of money.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
