Oh Boy: AMT, Police Deliver Baby in Ambulance
The infant was born in Bayville on the way to the hospital, police said.

A baby boy was delivered in the back of an ambulance in Bayville on the way to the hospital Wednesday at 5:20 a.m., authorities said.
Police say they responded to a Jackson Avenue home for a report of a woman, 36, in labor. When they arrived, they assisted a Nassau County advanced medical technician in transporting the woman to a nearby hospital.

On the way to the hospital, the woman delivered a boy in the back of the Nassau County Police Ambulance with the assistance of the officers and the AMT, according to police.
