Outstanding Contemporary Fine Craft Gallery Opens in Oyster Bay, NY

Fine Craft Gallery opens in Oyster Bay, NY after owner decides to open a storefront location following many years in the art show circuit.

The Pagio Gallery is a contemporary fine craft gallery that was launched by artist/jewelry designer, Paola Giordano- owner of Pagio Jewelry Designs.

Paola designs and fabricates all of her work independently utilizing unique, unusual, and often times unduplicated semi-precious stones combined with various precious metals- resulting in bold, one of a kind statement pieces of jewelry.

For many years, Paola traveled to and participated in between 35-40 juried fine art events from April through Christmas each year selling her work.

Paola launched "Long Island's First Mobile Art Gallery" in 2014 by refurbishing a former Fed-Ex truck into an amazing little shop on wheels, and also developed, organized, and operated "The Pagio Marketplace" which was an outdoor, bi-monthly pop-up art show - that hosted several artists and their work - that took place in Huntington Village, NY.

As Covid-19 shut down the world in early 2020, it also shut down the art show circuit. Everything came to a complete halt and there were no shows or events to participate in. Several of the stores, galleries and boutiques closed, and some of the show promoters claimed bankruptcy or took early retirement during this uncertain and challenging time.

In early March 2022, Paola found an ad for a little space for rent in Oyster Bay, NY. It had always been a goal to open a brick & mortar location, but as uncertainty continued to loom due to Covid, it was a gamble to take on as who knew if industries would once again be shut down. Paola chose to invest in the tiny space and create what is now known as the Pagio Gallery.

The Gallery officially opened in the beginning of May 2022.

The Pagio Gallery is not only a place where you will find the Pagio Jewelry line of jewelry, but the Gallery is home to sculpture, industrial lighting and small furniture pieces, wood turned pieces, fine oil paintings, pottery, illustrations, organic lotions and soaps, candles, bird feeders/houses and more. It houses an excellent curation of varying art work all designed and crafted by professional NY based artists. Paola felt it was important to remain supportive of her fellow artists, provide the community with a space where quality craftsmanship, skill, artistic ability and talents could be displayed, admired, and sold.

There is something for everyone in this tiny space. It is a one stop shop when looking for the perfect little gift!
