Oyster Bay HS Boys Winter Track Team Wins Back-To-Back Conference Titles

OYSTER BAY, NY β The Oyster Bay High School boys winter track team recently won the Conference 6 Championship Meet, compiling 140 team points, the school district announced.
This was the second consecutive year the team took home the title.
During this monthβs meet, Oyster Bay High School senior Chris Tardugno won the 3200-, 1600-, and 1000-meter races and junior Austin Aschettino won the long and triple jumps. In addition, junior Michael Lewis and senior Matt Zakarian came in second and third place in both the shot put and weight throw and senior Chris Dean finished in second place in the 55-meters, breaking his own school record along the way.

Members of the team also received All-Conference honors. This included junior Anthony Izuierdo in the long jump, sophomore Zach Greene in the 3200-meters and sophomore Andrew Jennette in the high jump.
