LaMarca Takes The Win In Town Of Oyster Bay Town Clerk Race

The unofficial results are in from the Nassau County Board of Elections.

OYSTER BAY, NY β€” Voters have spoken, and the incumbent Richard L. LaMarca appeared to emerge victorious in the race for Town Clerk of the Town of Oyster Bay.

β€œThank you to the residents of the Town for electing me to another term as their Town Clerk," LaMarca said in a release. "I look forward to further increasing efficiency within our office while providing the best services that our residents expect and deserve.”

According to unofficial results by the Nassau County Board of Elections, Republican candidate LaMarca garnered 43,993 votes, or 64.08 percent, compared to 24,640 , or 35.89 percent, garnered by challenger and Democratic candidate Kamalveer Kaur.

As of 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday, LaMarca was in the lead with 22,505 votes and continued to gain votes.

Results are unofficial until certified by the Nassau County Board of Elections.
