Stop & Shop Unveils Remodeled Oyster Bay Store

Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, today unveiled its newly remodeled store in Oyster Bay (295 Pine Hollow Road). The store is now noticeably brighter and more modern and offers new features are centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options to make grocery shopping easier.

The Oyster Bay store closed for four weeks earlier this summer for the installation of a new refrigeration system. Additional enhancements also include:

· Remolded produce department with numerous fresh offerings to eat healthy

· Renovated bakery department complete with delicious cakes, cupcakes and other treats

· Upgraded seafood department featuring an array of filets

· An updated deli department that features an expanded assortment of offerings including grab-and-go meals and prepared foods

· Organic and natural products integrated within the grocery aisles allowing customers to see all product options available

· Upgraded front-end with new convertible registers for an efficient checkout experience

“We’re excited to share our newly remodeled store with our local shoppers,” said Stephen Fosdick, Store Manager of Stop & Shop Oyster Bay. “We’ve added more of what our customers want and upgrades they need to get their shopping done faster and get back to what matters most.”

The store continues to offer Pickup, providing customers with a faster and more convenient way to shop. Customers can place an order on the Stop & Shop® mobile app or visit www.stopandshop.com, click on “Order Online” and select “Pickup” at the Oyster Bay store. Customers can then head to the store and have a Stop & Shop associate load their groceries right into their car.

Shoppers can look forward to giveaways and samples September 16-18, while supplies last. Additionally, NY Islanders mascot Sparky will visit the store on Friday, September 16th from 9:30am-10:30am and NY Giants Legend Sean Landeta will sign autographs from 11:00am-12:30pm on Saturday the 17th.
