Weapons Found After Speeding Stop in Woodbury: Nassau Police
Officers on routine patrol saw a gray 2011 Mercedes-Benz traveling north on Woodbury Road at a high rate of speed.

WOODBURY, NY — The Second Squad reports the arrest of a Brooklyn man Friday evening.
Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team Officers were on routine patrol when they saw a gray 2011 Mercedes-Benz northbound on Woodbury Road at a high rate of speed, police said.
The officers activated their emergency lights and conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop.

After investigation and a search, a loaded 9mm Ruger handgun and a switchblade knife were recovered from the car, police said. The driver, Emmanuel E. Pressley, 20, of 1979 Bergen Street was placed under arrest without further incident at 9:11 p.m.

Pressley is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon and several violations of the state's vehicle and traffic laws.

He was due to be arraigned on Saturday at First District Court, 99 Main St., Hempstead.
