PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Park Slopers will have a number of options for discounted meals in the neighborhood during this summer's edition of NYC Restaurant Week.
All told, six restaurants in Park Slope will join the latest deal-filled event, which will kick off July 18 and run through August 21, lasting 30 days in honor of the event's 30th anniversary (though it's not the event's first five-week-long affair).
Reservations are already open for the 642 spots participating citywide as of Wednesday, including 61 restaurants in Brooklyn — a step up for the borough compared to past restaurant weeks, which usually prove to be Manhattan-centric.

Unlike the past two Restaurant Weeks, this one will be the first since the coronavirus pandemic without sweeping masking and capacity restrictions.
"Masks and proof of vaccination are no longer required to dine indoors," the event's site states.
City officials, though, still recommend that people wear high-quality masks in indoor public spaces amid a recent BA.5-fueled citywide spike in COVID cases.
