Apparent Rescue on Hudson Actually a Movie Shoot

Talk about your realistic movie scenes.

Concerned New Yorkers took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon when they noticed ferries circling in the Hudson River.

At first, it appeared that the ferries were engaged in the rescue effort of a sinking tugboat. Witnesses tweeted about men in life vests being taken away by boats. It turns out, this dramatic situation was exactly that, just drama. The air was cleared by a tweet by ABC 7 News, explaining that the scene occurring on the river was part of a movie shoot.

It’s currently unknown for what movie the scene was being shot.
