Crook Swipes Laptop From Butler Street Biz: Police Blotter
The thief walked into Wafels & Dinges and stole a MacBook Pro on July 2.

Laptop Stolen
A thief stole a laptop from a Butler Street business located near 3rd Avenue July 2.

The 33-year-old victim, who works for Wafels & Dinges between 2nd and 3rd avenues, told police that the thief walked into his office and stole his MacBook Pro at 7:30 a.m. The crook was caught on camera and described as a black man standing 5-foot-7, weighing 140 pounds. The suspect was seen was wearing a multi-colored baseball hat, gray t-shirt, black jeans and black shoes. Another employee saw the crook in the lobby before he stole the laptop.

Smash ‘N Grab
A crook broke into a car parked on Flatbush Avenue and stole almost $800 in cash July 4.
The 52-year-old victim told police that she parked her Toyota Camry opposite 450 Flatbush Ave. at 7:30 a.m., and left her purse and other belongings inside the locked car. When she returned at 8:15 a.m., she found that someone had smashed her car window and snatched her purse, along with her six credit cards, ID cards, Blackberry cell phone and $760 in cash.
