Fifth Ave. Repaving Continues This Week
Have you noticed the work being done on Fifth Avenue?

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — The repaving of Fifth Avenue will continue at least through Thursday, according to the city's Department of Transportation.
Paving is set to happen Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights of this week along the major neighborhood thoroughfare. It's being paved from Flatbush Avenue all the way down to Prospect Avenue.
This DOT schedule lays out all of the work currently being done in Brooklyn this week. The Fifth Avenue resurfacing isn't listed on Friday's schedule.

A DOT spokesperson told Patch that the work is expected to be completed this week.
The DOT does say that work schedules are subject to inclement weather, so Tuesday's storms could change some plans.

As anyone who's ridden, driven or walked down the street can see, Fifth Avenue as already been milled as it prepares to be paved.
