Groper Who Creeped In To Woman's Gowanus Building Arrested: NYPD

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A man who sexually assaulted a woman after creeping in to her Gowanus apartment building has been arrested, police said.

Jayron Adolfo, 24, was taken into custody Tuesday and faces a slew of felonies, including sexually motivated burglary.

Police accused him of following a woman, 29, in to her apartment building near Third Avenue and Eighth Street late Jan. 4. Once inside, he reached under her skirt from behind and forcibly touched her, authorities said.

The sexual assaulter ran off while the woman went to a local hospital for treatment, police said. NYPD officials released photos and videos of a suspect and ultimately ended up arresting Adolfo.

Adolfo faces charges of sexually motivated burglary, sexual abuse, forcible touching, burglary and harassment.
