Long-Vacant Park Slope Lot Could Become Apartment Building, Plans Show
A Seventh Avenue lot that's sat empty for at least a decade could soon be replaced by a six-story building, new plans show.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A lot on Seventh Avenue that's sat empty for years could soon be developed into a six-story apartment building, according to new plans filed with the city.
The 2,400-square-foot-lot on Seventh Avenue between 14th and 15th streets has been vacant since at least 2011, and likely longer, based on Google Maps imagery. During that time it's been completely empty, becoming overgrown with weeds and fenced off, photos show.
Now, plans submitted last week, call for a 60-foot-tall building with 10 apartment units to be built on the site, addressed as 431 Seventh Avenue.

As of the time of this article's publication, the plans are still under review, and need approval from the Department of Buildings before moving forward.
The listed owner of 431 Seventh Avenue is Harel Edery, an architect and self-described "CGI enthusiast." Edery, under the real estate entity "431 Owner LLC," purchased the site for about $1.9 million in May, property records show.
