Man Struck, Severely Injured By Train At Atlantic-Barclays Station
An as-yet-unidentified man remains in critical condition with a severe leg injury after he was hit by a D train late Sunday, police said.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A man remains in critical condition after he was struck by train in Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station late Sunday, police said.
The man — who has yet to be identified and appears to be in his 30s — somehow made his way onto the tracks about 10:50 p.m., authorities said.
While on the tracks, the man was hit by D train headed north and suffered a severe leg injury, police said.

Medics rushed the man to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital for treatment, NYPD officials said.
The incident caused late-night delays on the D/N/R lines heading both directions at the station, MTA officials said.

Details still remained scant as of Monday morning, but police said it didn’t appear that the man was the victim of a crime. Hours before the incident, a 66-year-old man was shoved onto the tracks at President Street–Medgar Evers College station in Crown Heights, police said.
