Park Slope Is Among Top NYC Neighborhoods For Cyclists, Report Finds
Only Lenox Hill was considered better for bicycling.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Park Slope is among New York City's top five neighborhoods for cyclists – second only to Lenox Hill, according to a report by the housing website StreetEasy.
Residents of The Slope have a history of fighting for more bike lanes, according to StreetEasy. In 2010, many vocally supported the construction of a controversial bike lane on one of the neighborhood's main arteries, Prospect Park West. The proposal eventually went through despite opposition.
Aside from its activism, Park Slope's cycling infrastructure and access to other areas of the borough helped get the neighborhood the second slot in the ranking.
