StreetEasy ranked the best sellers' markets by the share of listing sold above their initial asking prices during the last three months of 2022.
The study found that 34 percent of homes in the top 10 neighborhoods sold above their asking prices, compared to 17 percent in the rest of New York City.
Sellers in those neighborhoods also saw their homes have more inquiries and spend less time on the market, the study found.
Park Slope homes typically sold for $1.55 million after 43 days on the market, with half of them going above asking price, according to the study.
But as the pendulum swung in a positive direction for Park Slope and Brooklyn sellers, it carried negative news for guyers.
Beyond the high prices, the study found buyers simply had fewer options than a year ago.
Inventory in the borough fell 16.4 percent year-over-year at the close of 2022, the study states.
"In Park Slope and Boerum Hill, second and third on our list, inventory dropped 32% and 41% year-over-year respectively, fueling competition for limited homes on the market," the study states.
