Park Slope "Sustainability House Tour" May 18!

Tickets on sale now: www.parkslopeciviccouncil.org

The Park Slope “Sustainability House Tour” will feature 9 homes with advanced, climate-friendly technologies like rooftop solar, heat pumps, triple-glazed windows, advanced insulation and more!

Sponsored by the Park Slope Civic Council, the Tour is on Sunday, May 18, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. With a total of 9 properties, ticket buyers roam at your own speed and your own itinerary from one great home to another, including row houses that have been retrofitted with technologies that work in an existing structure, as well as gut renovations, a 100% certified passive home, and one sustainability gut-rehab-in-progress. Owners and contractors will be on-site to answer questions.

The Civic Council has been doing House Tours since 1959, but this is just the second year of the focus on sustainability. Last year, more than 200 ticket buyers toured seven homes and coop apartments throughout the neighborhood. Another sellout is expected this year, so buy your tickets soon!
