Locals are seething that Mavi Jeans has painted over the "Who's Your Uncle?" mural depicting a bald eagle and American flag, as well the accompanying Max Ehrmann's poem "Desiderata," on Union Street.
"Not a good intro to #parkslope," @KarenBrklyn tweeted.
Mavi Jeans, located on the corner of Union Street and Fifth Avenue, is currently undergoing construction in preparation for its August opening, as Patch previously reported.
