Reminder: Park Slope Rep. Yvette Clarke Town Hall On Feb. 22

Congresswoman Yvette Clarke will host her first town hall of 2017 on Feb. 22.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Congresswoman Yvette Clarke, the representative for Park Slope, will host a town hall meeting on Feb. 22.

The in-person gathering will take place at the Union Temple, located at 17 Eastern Parkway, and will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The evening's discussion will focus on a variety of topics, according to Clarke spokesman Patrick Rheaume, including "the Trump administration's threat to health care."

Rheaume also said the town hall will be one of several in-person meetings Clarke will host during the coming months.

The Brooklyn congresswoman has been a vocal critic of the Trump administration. Patch interviewed her on Jan. 20, when she laid out her stances on a variety of issues, including immigration policy, health care and civil rights.
