The storm rages against our bar

In a second, everything was gone, the business and our dreams.

The day was off to such a good start!

Hi everyone,
I'm Alexandra and I'm the owner of Winemak'Her bar, a bar with only women winemakers.
I'm woman-owned myself, and this bar was my dream for my family.
Yesterday my terrace took flight, I can't explain it, it just flew up in the air and flipped over like a crepe.

Davy (my husband) and I called all the services to help us secure the road, but everyone was busy.
Thank you to our South Slope Eatery colleague for helping us secure the road, I was so scared someone was going to get hurt.

But here are the facts, today running this bar is getting very hard, we've done it all ourselves, without a bank, without an investor, and this storm is the final blow after 3 years of fighting against covid, or even more recently, inflation.

I'm one of those people who loves to help out, to lend a hand, to set up a fund to help my friends, and I hate asking for help.
But now I'm at the end of my capacity, both financially and emotionally.
I said to myself yesterday: this is it, this is the end!

But you know me, I want to fight.
That's why I'm launching my gofundme, for the bar.

This money will help me clean up the disaster area, pay off loans at 24% interest, and pay my wages and rent.
Every dollar counts, and I understand if you can't give, but if you could just share, it would be a big help.

Thank you
