Subway Phone-Snatchers Strike Twice On Same Day In Brooklyn: Police
Police say the two men pictured are responsible for grabbing phones at a Park Slope and Prospect-Lefferts Gardens subway station.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A pair of subway phone-snatchers struck twice at subway stations in Park Slope and Prospect-Lefferts Gardens on Friday afternoon, police said.
Their first victim was a 32-year-old male walking down the stairs to the 2 train platform at the Sterling Street 2/5 subway station around 11 a.m., according to police.
The boys grabbed his iPhone out of his hand and fled south on Nostrand then west on Sterling, police said.

Nearly two hours later, around 12:50 p.m., they approached a 23-year-old woman who was on a 2 train that was approaching Grand Army Plaza, police said.
They grabbed her phone, left the train and ran up the staircase, according to police.

The two thieves are described by police as teenagers, about 16 to 19 years old. They are pictured above.
