$35M Deal Buys Up Park Slope Rental Buildings, Report Says
Akelius Real Estate Management bought 181 and 182 Prospect Park West and 409-421 14th Street for $35 million, the Real Deal reported.

PARK SLOPE, NY — A large Swedish investment group closed on a nearly $35 million sale for several rental buildings around Park Slope, the Real Deal Reported.
Akelius Real Estate Management — which has been buying up buildings around Manhattan and Brooklyn — recently bought the pair of buildings at 181 and 182 Prospect Park West for $14.7 million that have 34-units inside, sources told the Real Deal.
The group also spent $20.75 million on the seven buildings between 409 to 421 14th St. that has 44 apartments inside. The buildings include a mix of rent-stabilized and market rate apartments.

This isn't the first property the United States arm of the Swedish investment group bought property in the neighborhood. Earlier this year, Akelius spent $16 million on the 34-unit walk-up at 427-433 Dean St., the Real Deal reported.
