These BK Neighborhoods Saw The Highest Home Price Drop Last Month
Two Brooklyn neighborhoods made it onto a list of the New York City neighborhoods where home prices dropped the most in November.

BROOKLYN, NY — Two Brooklyn neighborhoods had some of the highest home price drops of anywhere in New York City last month, according to a new report.
Both Windsor Terrace and Brownsville saw their home prices drop more than 6 percent in November, landing them on a list of the top five neighborhoods with the "Highest Median Percentage Price Drops" in New York City, according to the study by RealtyHop.
The study analyzed the dropping prices by median percentage, median dollar value and by street address.

Brownsville, at the top of the percentage list, also landed on the list of the neighborhoods with the highest price drop based on dollar value. Home prices dropped by a median of 8.4 percent, or about $101,000, in the neighborhood, according to the study.
In Windsor Terrace, prices dropped by a median of 6.4 percent, or $39,000.

An address in nearby Park Slope took the top spot for the home with the highest percentage drop in price. The 44 Prospect Park West home dropped $300,000 and now is on the market for just under $650,000, according to the study.

- Brownsville, Brooklyn: 8.4 percent, $101,000
- Manhattanville, Manhattan: 6.7 percent, $100,000
- Breezy Point-Belle Harbor-Rockaway Park-Broad Channel, Queens: 6.7 percent, $60,000
- Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn: 6.4 percent, $39,000
- Fresh Meadows-Utopia, Queens: 6.3 percent, $75,056

- SoHo-TriBeCa-Civic Center-Little Italy, Manhattan: $222,500, 4.9 percent
- Upper East Side-Carnegie Hill: $120,000, 6.3 percent
- Brownsville, Brooklyn: $101,000, 8.4 percent
- Manhattanville, Manhattan: $100,000, 6.7 percent
- Auburndale, Queens: $100,000, 6.3 percent
- Chinatown, Manhattan: $100,000, 4.4 percent
